如果您想在爱尔兰停留12个月以上，并且您的驾驶证来自下列国家之一，则可以办理手续将您的驾驶证换成爱尔兰驾驶证： 澳大利亚、奥地利、比利时、保加利亚、捷克、塞浦路斯、丹麦、爱沙尼亚、芬兰、法国、德国、直布罗陀、希腊、格恩西岛、匈牙利、冰岛、意大利、马恩岛、日本、泽西岛、拉脱维亚、列支敦士登、立陶宛、卢森堡、马耳他、荷兰、挪威、波兰、葡萄牙、罗马尼亚、斯洛伐克、斯洛文尼亚、南非、韩国、西班牙、瑞典、瑞士和英国。
如果您没有获得上述任何国家的驾照，但您持有另一个国家的驾照或国际驾驶许可证，则您可以在临时访问期间在爱尔兰驾车（最长不超过12个月）。如果您将在爱尔兰停留超过12个月，则您应该申请爱尔兰驾驶证。

To renew a learner permit you must provide

If you do not have your most recent learner permit you must present a completed lost licence declaration (question 17 on D201) together with valid photographic ID

If applying for a third or subsequent Learner permit, documentary evidence must be submitted that you have either sat a driving test (statement of driving test outcome dated within two years) or an acknowledgement of a forthcoming test.
如果申请到第三次或多于三次的实习驾照，必须提交书面证据证明你通过了理论测试（两年内的驾驶理论测试结果日期）或即将进行的测试。
